Suvarnabhumi Airport (meaning 'Golden Land'), also known as Bangkok International Airport, is an international airport serving
Bangkok, Thailand. The airport is located in 'Racha Thewa' in 'Bang Phli' district, Samut Prakan Province, about 25 kilometres
east of downtown Bangkok.
Bangkok's former Don Muang International Airport now operates domestic flights. Some 140 flights carrying 20,000 passengers
daily are now set to use the airport, beloved by many for its quirks - including a golf course between the main runways -
and its relatively easy access to downtown Bangkok.
The skytrain, Bangkok's overhead light railway system, provides a great way to get around many of the major shopping, business
and commerical areas around central Bangkok. Finished in 1999, it's a great alternative to sitting in Bangkok's legendary
traffic.
Trains usually run every 3 - 6 minutes from 6.00-12.00 midnight daily. At certain times, special promtions include discount

The recently opened underground train system (officially called MRT - Mass Rapid transit) reaches from the Northern train
station of Bangsue to Hua Lumphong main railway station in a loop, connecting with the Skytrain on 3 different stations,
namely : Silom, Sukhumvit and Chatuchak Park.
There have a similar ticket system as the Skytrain (BTS) but both systems are for the time being not compatible. All stations
of the underground train can be reached via ramps and elevators, if needed, or alternatively via escalators.
Officially known as the Bangkok Grand Central Terminal Railway Station, is the main railway station in Bangkok, Thailand. It
is located in the center of the city in Pathum Wan District, and is operated by the State Railway of Thailand.

This terminal is for most intercity buses head to the west and south of Bangkok. Some of the destinations include:
Nakhon Pathom, Hua Hin, Phuket, Yala and Hat Yai.
The busiest and largest of bus terminals by far is the Mochit (Mor Chit) bus station, often just called the Northern Bus
Terminal even though is has two other terminals located there. This is the terminal for reaching all major Thailand
destinations with buses travelling to all points in Central, North and North Eastern (Isaan) Thailand.
